Received a major overhaul and was fitted with vacuum brakes by the K&ESR.
17/9/2006: D2023 has now been finished and is in an (as new) excellent condition. The locomotive is in early B.R green with cycling wheel emblems. The locomotive has also had brand new builders plates fitted and the last stage of the overhaul is to finish painting the cab with the original cream and black interior. Once this project is complete then 08108 also based on the railway can be taken out of service as Tenterden station pilot and receive a much needed overhaul. Once this is complete we will have two locomotives to be proud of!!
